Dinner at Citrus, drinks at Baliz

I had dinner at Citrus tonight. A very classy fine dining place which provides delicious food and desserts.

First, we had a prawn salad, which was just amazingly good. The prawns were FRESH!
Then came the Thai Beef Salad, which was juicy!
I had fresh Starfruit Juice to quench my thirst.
My spaghetti Carbonara was extremely Creamy, great for carbonara lovers.
The seafood Spaghetti was light and good. Not to forget the deliciously juicy and fresh seafood!
That's my brother's 3 way lamb, cooked in 3 ways. So special and yummy.
After all that filling main courses, we still made some space for their really mouth watering desserts...

Here's the Pandan Garlic dessert.
My favourite warm chocolate cake. I will tell you the specialty of it later.
And the trio dessert, which contained warm chocolate cake, cheese cake and brownies topped with ice-cream.
The best part about the warm chocolate cake is the method of eating it. If you break the top part and eat it bit by bit, you will find warm chocolate inside the cake, which would pour right out if you were to cut the cake on the side! SLURPICIOUS!!! However, I love to scoop it out from the middle and mix it with ice cream and strawberry jam. You must eat this if you happen to come to Citrus! MUST!!!

After dinner, we went to Baliz for drinks. That's what I wore...

Joey and I
I couldn't resist camwhoring with the walls in Baliz... HAHA!!!

I bumped into my Bestie around the area too!!! That's just how small Ipoh town is...
We walked over to Barroom to just wish Sam a happy birthday then left. I saw Sam's new car as I left. Interesting...
Since I got home so early, I camwhored... HAHAHA

I suddenly got the oomphh for watches again... No thanks to Sky for letting me camwhore with his Gshock during Baliz drink session.
I went online and saw these babies... OMG!!!
This one below is actually 18K Gold, worth 28,000USD! OMGAWDDD!!!!
Oh well, might as well sleep and dream about it... HAHA!!! Night all!!!

Love... my story

Once again, another friend sends me a message, informing me of her wedding in the coming year. In just these few years, I have already had hands full of invitation cards and have attended quite a number. It shows me how much I have aged and my time is coming up. However, seriously, I don't plan on getting married (for the moment?). Relationship is just too complicated of a matter to me. Let me tell you a little story about a little someone whose love story of years going down the drain because of foolishness...

She met him at work in 2006. She was selling mobile phones in a stall nearby while he had a roadshow. She was already friends with his friends, as they were close to her boss. He walked over to her and asked for her phone number, and they started calling each other, SMS'ing each other everyday ever since. It was only days after their first meeting that they got together as a couple, him sending her to work but being all hush hush about it. She didn't understand why he had to hide it from his friends back then but it also didn't matter at that time. He brought her home to meet his family and extended family on the 2nd day of getting together. It meant a lot to her.

After some time, his friends all knew about their relationship and they were both fine about it. They traveled together, went to events together, attended parties together as a couple. It seemed fine to everyone but behind the lies, there was just nothing but sadness. Why? He was a pure playboy who brings girls home to sleep with. She couldn't do anything but confront him every time she found out. All he does is say he would change and she eventually had to get over it.

Time flies and they had been together for more than 4 and a half years. She finally couldn't handle his lies anymore as he stroke once again. She finally left him for good and there goes the 4 and a half years of youth.

For him, she had given up her passion, dancing. For him she had wasted her opportunities. For him, she has wasted so much... but through these years, she has learnt so much from him.

SHE is actually ME. Yeah, now you know my relationship life before... HAHAHA. Moral of the story, get to know someone before rushing into a relationship.

I'm thankful for FRIENDS! My second FAMILY!

After putting on a Stats widget a few days ago, only did I know my blog has been visited 267 times already! WOW! That's a great achievement to me for a blog that has been established for only about a month! Although the number may seem a little obscene, oh well, it works well with me. HEHE!

It's weird that in just these two months, I get to gain a lot of friends, both old and new.

Friends who was never interested to call me or ask me out or even HAVE MY NUMBER actually messages me on Facebook asking for my contact, friends who went MIA just appeared out of nowhere and started chatting with me on whatever apps, friends who I never knew could be close to me actually turned out to be the bestest I could ever ask for...

New friends I have known through these two months were also extreme. Its just so unexpected. Some I contact now and then and some, just a Hi Bye thing as usual.

However, don't you have the feeling that sometimes new friends could be better than your old friends? I was quite disappointed during my early birthday party in KL. I invited quite a few friends to my pre-birthday and guess what? Only 2 of them showed up. The rest didn't even bother to let me know if they were coming or not. Friends... Or more like Hi Bye people?

Thank God I met new friends and they turned up for my party, which was unexpected as a few of them didn't promise that they would make it, informing me that they have a function to go to and might not even make it. I have actually concluded with my party being just about 6 or 7 of us friends. I couldn't expect much but was touched as I got so much surprises in one night. Oh well, I guess friendship really doesn't matter on how long you have known each other after all?? It was my first surprise and it was great. I could not have asked for anything better.

Back in Ipoh, I was also surprised with the number of people who attended my birthday countdown celebration. This birthday to me was like a super sweet 16 MTV program! HAHA! Though I didn't book an entire hall or get an expensive sports car, I really felt like a star...

Thank you all for making my birthday such an unforgettable one this year... I hope to have this every year but then it would not be anymore special now would it? ^^

Who needs a boyfriend when you have all these friends with you??? HAHAH!!! Joking lah... I do miss being in a relationship at times but also, I am enjoying the singlehood life. ANYONE WITH ME HERE???
