A night at i-City

I've heard a great deal about this i-City and never been there before. As I got off the train from Ipoh, my sister and her husband picked me up. Instead of going to Kota Damansara for our pool cravings, we decided to take a car ride all the way to Shah Alam to witness the place for ourselves. People say it is a very beautiful place with really interesting lights everywhere.

It took us quite long to reach there as we used Google map and took the wrong turn. We ended up turning into every single possible road which might just bring us back to the right track.

On the highway, we spotted i-City, which was really colourfully lit up! We saw the huge Ferris Wheel that spinned so slowly, and trees that made us feel like we were either in Alice in Wonderland or Lorax!!! My sister and I practically had the reaction like the bears when we saw the lights... LOL!

We entered the colourful place and was so amazed at how bumpy and terrible the roads were. The roads were practically not paved up, just lots of sand and stones. It was so dangerous and if you were to go there with kids, do be careful.

The first thing we saw as we entered was the amusement area. It's been a while since I've seen a fun fair or a carnival! There's toys hanging above the games, Cotton candies for sale, children games everywhere!

My sister couldn't resist the cotton candy and bought one. We all shared in the end and got hooked with it. LOL! Childhood memories...

We walked up the stairs and saw some animals on the side. Sort of like a mini animal expedition I guess. On the right was a snow city. It went as low as 10 or 5 degrees. I forgot. However, we didn't go in. Entry was about RM35 for one. We walked up some more and saw more children games, also the Ferris Wheel. It looked like it was moving really slowly and it would take perhaps an hour or so until we get out of there! Imagine the people who needed to pee. LOL!

Here's my lovely sister with her hubby...

In the end, we headed to the arcade above the amusement area and played Bumper Cars! It's been so long since we've last played bumper cars! In fact, I think I have never driven a bumper car before in my life! I have always been the passenger and never really the driver! It was a really banging good fun time we had.
My sister decided to sit at the kid's car while waiting for our turn... POSER!

We still had some credits in the card, so I played Pump it Up dance machine! It's been so long since I've last played on one!!! I remember playing it almost every weekend at Ipoh's Capcom station years back. People crowded behind me watching, a few even clapping after I did my turn. It's been so long... How I wished I could go back to that time...

That place wasn't that big and entertaining for us as it looks like it just opened or something. So many things need to be improved.

Oh, let me warn you though, the parking here isn't cheap, let alone free... We were there for like what, an hour or so? The fee was RM10. SERIOUSLY?!?! We'll really re-think about coming back to this place...
