Big Bad Wolf!!! AWoOooOOoOOOooooO

AWOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOOooooooo!!! Big Bad Wolf is finally here!!! Don't tell me you don't know what BBW is. No, I'm not talking about the red riding hood story mean guy but more like the book sales!!! It's the largest book sales in the world this year! It's in newspapers, blogs, facebook,... All kinds of social networking sites has info about it! I have been there almost every year for the previews as the owner is a friend of mine. Here's my "media" pass for the year!!!

As we arrived The Mines Convention Centre at about 2pm, the first thing that welcomed us was Andrew's new lamborghini with his Big Bad Wolf on it! I should say this is an awesome ride! He said he'll take me on a spin after his book sales back in Ipoh. WEE!!! Cool Big Bad Ride~!!!

This year, they are well prepared and offering affordable merchandises outside the convention hall. You can find their T-Shirts very affordable at the price of RM29.90! They are also very trendy!

They also have buttons for sale, at RM9.90 for 5! It's based on their short comic strip!

Don't have any paper and pens for tic-tac-toe? Fret not! All you need is a wolf-tac-toe tote bag with buttons! You can now play tic-tac-toe and also CHECKERS on the go without worrying about missing pieces!!!

As I entered the convention hall, I was blown away with the size of the hall. It is way bigger than the ones before! They started with only a shop and now, they are renting a whole massive hall! I will show you the pictures later in the post. But first, I will show you the booths that were setting up upstairs.

There is also a kid's corner where kids could make their sand art of Big Bad Wolf and Red Riding Hood! Notice Red Riding Hood with a book instead of a basket?

There are more merchandises for sale upstairs, which are fridge magnets and also key chains which are only at RM8 each! If you would like to take them home to paint, you could take the set with paints at the price of RM10!

Here's some cool banners which I couldn't resist taking pictures of. Indeed some people were a green hero and did bring their own market trolleys, suitcases and luggage bags there!
Photobucket

One thing I must agree with, that's this banner. The books are SERIOUSLY TOO CHEAP to be stolen!!! I mean, books from RM8 and above? AAAhhhWOOOOOooOOOooOOoOOo...
Photobucket

There is a play area for kids while you shop for books. No need to worry about them being too bored or running around, hurting themselves!
Photobucket

Here's a few pictures of the booths there!

There's also a food court! There's Pizza Hut, KFC, Ayamas, Chicken Rice, Baskin Robbins and more!

Enough of suspense. Here's some pictures of the book fair!!! This below is the cashier counters and the staff behind the cashier!!!

AND HERE... ARE THE BOOKS AND THEIR TABLES!!!! Do note that I am taking pictures at the floor above, which means there are also books right under where I am standing!!!
Photobucket

There are also very trendy nice looking notebooks at the price of RM2 and above!
Photobucket
There are so many varieties of books...
Photobucket

Boxes that are available for customers to grab their books and put into!

Which category are you most interested in? For me, it will definitely be the comics section!
Photobucket
Since when was Betty, Veronica and Archie so hideous? Sorry, but I still love the old fashioned comic.

There's one particular section that I had to take pictures of coz there's no way it's going to last and be that way until the end of the book fair. Books are placed and decorated in a manner that are so creative and classy! Take a look!!!

Imagine your room with such nice deco of books. Such artists. HAHA.

After walking for hours, my mom and I ended the day, or should i say night, with 3 boxes of books. Guess how much these 3 boxes came up to? It was only RM430!!!

It was a great day. We left only at 8pm and went straight back to Ipoh. To the fellow citizens who are goin to the book fair from tomorrow til the end of the fair, I bid you farewell and wishing you good luck with the crowd. HAHA!!! I might just pop by again one of these days just for the fun of it... SEE YA!!!
