The Van and driver we hired took us to a temple to visit first in the morning. The thing about this temple is that there are trained monkeys that would steal your stuff and in return, you will have to pay the people working there to lure the monkeys in for your belongings. Therefore, everything especially shiny stuff had to be kept. Mom tried to take her specs off but she said all she sees is blurry. She had to hold on to it at all times...

As we were enjoying the nice scenery, so did the other tourists. There was a monkey that snuck up to a girl beside us and pulled her slipper away. It's nothing valuable so the people just returned it to her with no costs.

I then took a stroll around the area after the show. There were some cool statues and places which brought some meaning to the land.

This offerings are made to Gods everywhere. They make offerings often in Bali. I stepped on one of it once and it made a really POP sound and my feet was drenched. YEEE...
Photobucket

Here's a statue that we think is AWESOMEEEE!!!

We walked down the street from where we had our lunch to check out the Oakley store, which was tempting as the sales were so BIG! However, it was a disappointment though...
Photobucket

The stores everywhere were having sales but one thing we have learnt. Though the stores write ROXY SALES, not all the clothes are from Roxy! They are all mixed brands of BALI's brands also and that left Roxy to just 10% of the shop...

After window shopping coz I didn't get anything I wanted, we went to a Batik factory far away to find some souvenirs. However, we were bummed to find out that it was a "waterfish" joint as everything was in USD! CRAZY!!!

Since we had nothing much to do, we went back home to rest. Of course, I did not rest. I went for some swimming at our resort since the beach was not suitable for us to go to. The water in the beach just wasn't right. Don't know how to explain it... You know? In science and all? ARGHHH...
Photobucket

For dinner, we took the free bus shuttle from our resort to Bali Collection complex. There was a whole stretch of shopping stores and also food!
Photobucket

This tree spooked me out...
Photobucket

I saw Starbucks! Bummed that I didn't get to have a cup though...
