TAMF Sunway Lagoon!!!

Today's the day I have been waiting for!!! The last outdoor party/night concert in April! As you know, it had been quite a happening April for me. First was Sepang's Zouk party, then it was LMFAO's concert at Sunway Lagoon. Today, it's TAMF! TAMF stands for Tiger Asian Music Festival. Yes, it means Tiger is hosting it... I actually had to take two hours of leave from work to head there earlier to collect tickets from Simon Seow.

I have collected 4 exclusive passes from my Bestie a few days before as her dad got them from the drinking sessions he had. Since she had no one to give it to, I told her I'd distribute it to my friends in KL.

As you can see below, who are the singers that are coming???

Thanks to Simon Seow, this guy below, I got tickets to the RM118 reserved area for FREE!!! Although it's not free flow, but I didn't bother. I just wanted front view seats stands nearest to the artists! Oh and as a token of appreciation, I drew him this cap. Sort of like a last minute thing though...

So, YEAH! I had 3 kinds of tickets in my hands right before I entered!!!

After handing the tickets to my friends, I had a little problem with some jerks who was supposed to get me. So, I entered the place ALONE, enjoying the night ALONE! #Foreveralone zone...

I didn't bother camwhoring today though as it doesn't provide me proper lighting to do so, unlike LMFAO's.

There was an event that went on, off the stage and I just stopped for a moment to take photos. I was actually only there to check and see if my friends were there...  The fire-people!

There was a band on stage, which I guess was just trying out the sound systems? I'm not quite sure myself...

Then, the time came. The start of the concert!!! The opening dance was performed by none other than the  dopest dance crews! The members include Chriz Ooi, Dennis Yin, Popping Joe, Joey (ECX); Charles, Ben, Kurisu (FIX); Becky and Von (Soul Krazy.)
Then, a group of drummers came out to make some beats. It was alright...

Then, something surprised me. As it was going on, suddenly the dancers came out AGAIN! It definitely was something that I have never seen ECX and FIX do before. NICE!!!

As they ended, everyone got hyped up and anxious to seeing their idols come on stage. Of course, the MCs got all the cheers also! The famous 金刚 was one of the MCs! His cdantonese got everyone laughing their heads off. I sometimes think if he does that on purpose or is his Chinese really so unfluent after so long?

The first ones to perform were none other than Beyond. They have "vanished" these years and reappeared on our stage in MALAYSIA! Although I ain't a fan of any of the chinese singers, I too knew a few of their famous songs!

Sorry for the shaky hands and blurry images. Most of them were recorded from my iPhone. The photos however were taken with my camera. I had some problems previously with my video on Camera therefore I dared not risk it...

Secondly, it was A-Lin's turn to perform. I didn't know any of her songs, which also means I don't know her neither... I FAILED! Not many videos but photos will do I guess?

Then, the MCs got to interview and chat with her.

Next up was Manhand, a band which originates from Malaysia. They are quite successful though!

Next up was Jam Hsiao 萧敬腾!!! I remember watching his finale at the competition on TV with my ex-boyfriend. Who knew? It's been 5 years already! I absolutely loved his famous all-time winning song, 新不了情!!!

He talked most, I could say, on that night! He was quite a poser though as he stopped with cute funky poses everywhere. It's good though as it gave us chances to take pictures of him!

This picture below somehow reminds me of Anita Mui's wax figurine in Hong Kong Wax Museum! LOL!

Then, it was A-Yue 张震岳. He sang a lot of songs which were unknown to me, therefore it bored me a little. Sorry to say...

Finally MC Hotdog appeared! He's one of my favourites on this night! I remember him singing the La Mei song. AND I'M GLAD HE SANG IT!!!

Last, but not least, LMF CAME OUT!!! Everyone went wild!!! It was quite bad actually that everyone did not give a chance to the MCs to talk before they appeared on stage. I guess everyone got tired of waiting...

They also dedicated a song to a fan, who came to the concert with his sporting father who has been attending their concerts for 5 years! WOW! And it got emotional...

More videos...

Then, Manhand came out to end the concert with LMF.

And that, was the end of the night. Yeah, I went through it alone. ALONE. in the crowd... But it was a great night overall... The highlight came last. Incredible fireworks that lasted forever. Because I was way in front, I didn't get to see all that action. I only got to take a few minutes of it as I was walking out the place. BUMMER!

I got home after midnight, after a supper with a friend. I had so much fun I actually forgot that I have not had dinner! That just happens to me all the time. To make it clear to you guys, if you know me well enough, you'd know that I don't really listen to chinese songs. Therefore I don't know most of the singers or what they sing. I was here this particular night not just because I had free tickets...

My motive?
1. LMF! I have heard their songs in my school days and would like to see them in person. I seriously did not know how they looked like til tonight.
2. MC Hotdog, another singer whom I've heard in my schooling days.
3. It's free! and I had free drinks! Which I did not have any of, coz I was lazy to get them...
4. Hoping to meet someone. Which I had no luck with as always. ><
5. See the dance performance. I always love seeing them dance. I can't be at that standard so it's good to watch.

I know my pictures and videos are not clear enough for you, so do feel free to drop by these links (blog and FB page) which would provide you better vision of what went on that night!
