iLuminate in conjuction with Genting's 50th Anniversary, Thanks to HITZ FM!!!

Good Friday everyone!

How has your Friday been so far? It is a very good day for me today. I got to have breakfast with my niece before I got to work today, had no trouble with the bus (which was always nowhere in sight), then I received a very interesting SMS.

It appears I have won 2 tickets for iLuminate: Artist of Light at Resort World Genting from Hitz FM, in conjunction with Genting's 50th Anniversary! I remember just stumbling upon Hitz FM website to look for something and came across the contest. It is one of those "Fill in the blanks, why you would like to win passes" kind of contest. I have never been selected for these kind of contests and this being the first, got me jumping for joy!

The bonus for this contest was that I would win a room stay at Genting too! Time for a holiday that I have always needed. I have not been to Genting in a while now. Time for a 2 day relaxation.

iLuminate is actually a dance group who dress in black as they fuse music, dance and technology using synchronized LED light displays for a WOW effect. You can check them out in the video below.

So who and what exactly is iLuminate? Let me give you a little idea of their background.

iLuminate is a company based on the fusion of technology and dance from New York. They have competed at America's Got Talent in 2011 and made several international appearances. You can easily see them on stage with Grammy-winning superstars such as Christina Aguilera, The Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, Chris Brown, etc. You may have also seen them on the Ellen DeGeneres show!!!

Don't miss out on the show! It has started since 3rd April and will be on til 28th June 2015 at the Genting International Showroom!!! It starts at 8.30pm and lasts for 75 minutes! (I wonder where they get all that energy...)

Thriller Live in Malaysia

I was so happy to be invited by Milestone Production to attend Thriller Live musical celebration on the 19th March. I have entered a contest in Nuffnang previously but didn't get any news from them so I assumed that I didn't get any. However, I was surprised yesterday that I have won another 2 passes from Nuffnang for the show on the same day!!!

I happily invited my friends to join me but unfortunately I had 2 media passes and 2 normal passes, which means we had to separated.

I arrived as early as 7pm at the venue to collect my media pass. There were strict rules to the event and we had to sign an agreement. I didn't exactly pay attention to the agreement coz I was just too hungry at that time. We were advised not to take video recordings or photos but as media, they allowed us to take some for reference but only for selected songs. I think it was fair enough since we were invited to the 1st show and we would ruin it for the general if they were to come in the other days. There will not be any OOHS or  AAHS for them then...

Since I was so early, I went with Kaze to have some Subway for dinner.

We finally got to enter the event after I collected the Cat B tickets from Nuffnang. Not long after I was seated, the show started.

I have to say the highlight for me were the songs Beat It,

 Earth Song, Billie Jean and of course THRILLER!!!!

After the concert, we had the privilege to go backstage for a 20 minute tour!!!

We had such a great time that when we got out of the place, it was already past midnight. To those who are going for the musical, you will not regret getting tickets to the show. 

Be amazed with voices that would blow your minds. Not forgetting the dance moves which would make you scream at the top of your lungs!!! I thought MJ came to life at some point.

Part 2: Facebook Pervert Daniel AY

A day has passed and still comments are generating like wild mushrooms. People showing concern and hatred. But wait, there's a new addition to this.

Someone left me a message informing me that Daniel was spotted at work a few weeks ago, ordering staff to work. He may not be an owner as people have seen him doing the work himself too. This anonymous person added that he thinks it is Daniel but would not dare to confirm that it is him in case of any wrong accusation made.

On my side, I received messages from "someone" named after "Clubbing Lovers Kuala Lumpur" on Facebook. This person claimed that he is the moderator of the shop that Daniel says he owns. This was very fishy as to why he used a different account to contact me. He mentioned something about a page not being able to contact their fans. Why didn't he use his own profile to contact me instead? Why would he use an account that was some clubbing account? I'm not very sure to how that goes so I just went with the flow.

Next, he insisted that I lodge a police report WITH HIM. By this, it means I have to meet whoever he is. I had doubts and proceeded to ask my lawyer for advise. He told me to lodge a report on my own and that I DO NOT HAVE TO report together as it was not necessary for us to do it together. Right after I pushed him off, I realize he started to sound a little like Daniel. This, I am not too sure of. The next thing I know, I am being blocked by this "person" and also that particular page is no longer valid!!! WOW!!! What a coincidence huh?

Now, I won't be putting any names of companies here. If he has the power to misuse the name of company he works at and to post on behalf, then I'm left speechless. After all, even if I get a "confirmation" from the shop and yet he is the one that owns it, then I would be talking to him about the clarification instead! I guess we will never know what the truth is...
