Woke up only at 11.45am today. It was such a good sleep
I did not even get up to turn the whole night. I was dead tired! not even 2
hours of sleep for the last 24 hours! How would you have felt?
Took my shower, packed up and headed off with the
people. Firstly, we went to the General Hospital. The Hospital was an eye
opener. Seriously! The first thing you would see are the machines, which
controls your entrance and exits. We had to register at the counter with our
Identification cards to issue a code on the paper which we had to then scan at
the machines to enter! Every patient is limited to only 4 visitors per time.
They also had our registries as a record in case there is another case of SARS
or any other medical problems in the future. They would then get to track down
who was in the building that needed quarantined.
Went up to see Gu Jeong, which was attacked by brain tumor, and he
looked better. He had staples on his head and of course was shaven bald.He had
a little problem with speech but it was still alright. Tumor was at his left
brain, therefore not much of movement on the right. Beds were all wired and
your could just press a button to sit upright.
As we left, only did I realize the self check in
kiosk!!! HAHA!! Don't all these just remind you of a hotel?
Went to lunch with Gu mah and her in-laws at a food
court in Chinatown. The food was good and cheap! I ordered fish head noodles
while the others ordered some fried food. I also had the dessert, Longan with
sea coconut.
It rained after we ate. We drove around and had no choice but to go shopping
since there is nowhere to sightsee in a weather like this.
Then, Sharon let her children play on a machine, which was not what we usually have in Malaysia. It was a roller coaster ride for kids. Watch the video I have posted!!!
More pictures of the kids...
Next,We headed for some dessert!! I didn't, but the kids. I was on a tight budget and since it was just the 2nd day our of the whole week, I rather save up and not spend all of it...
Met Jason for dinner at the food court nearby. Certain
food was popular in demand and it had a long queue.
Jason came slightly later and told me Kevin Ng was at a cafe 2 doors away. I was hesitant on whether to go and ask for a photo. In the end, I went home without that photo...

Here's the food we had!!!
After our meal, Bruce sent me to Su's home at 10pm and I got to tour around the house. Her maid waited up for me. Her whole place has a view!!! I definitely am staying indoors this year for New Years Eve and it would also be a quiet one. Here's some pictures!!!
Got to sleep now... Duck Tour tomorrow and meeting
with some of my boys...
