The Hunger Games Preview Screenings by Astro Circle

Previously, I redeemed 2 tickets from Astro Circle with only 100 points. It was a movie I was looking forward to, The Hunger Games, Mockingjay Part 1. Since Simon had been saying "bojio" to me in my recent Instagram photos, I decided to ask him along for the preview screenings.

Before heading to Mid Valley for the movie, he joined me for dinner at MyBurgerLab to use up my 50% discount off the ala carte burger which expires on 27th November. It's been a while since I had my last burger there. Little did I know that his last time was even longer than mine.

I went straight to Mid Valley after dinner, at about 7pm and walked around, window shopping. Walked past the Magnum ice-cream shop which everyone was posting about but I was too full at that moment. There wasn't a queue yet but I just couldn't stuff myself with anymore food. Went to collect my ticket at about 8pm before I continued window shopping.

I was given 2 side tickets and 2 combo sets which consisted 2 popcorns and 2 drinks. What a deal. The seats were not that bad being on the side. After all, what could we ask for from free tickets right?

The movie was good. I still prefer the first episode though. What's stuck in my head about this show would be the song, Hanging Tree. I downloaded the song right after I arrived home and made it my ringtone. It had an eerie tune but it was also very addictive. Tell me if you don't feel the same way about that song!

GSC Horrorfest by Nuffnang

Today, I was invited to Nuffnang GSCHorrorfest! It was a movie marathon of 3 back-to-back horror films! So interesting! I have avoided horror movies for quite some time and now, I have decided to face it, 3 to be exact, in different languages! Since I went straight there after work, I didn't have time to get myself dressed up and made up. I did a 5 minute fast simple makeup and went to collect my tickets and freebies.

The movies we watched were The Second Sight, Rigor Mortis and Insidious 2. The second Sight left most of us walking out laughing. It was more of a romance movie that left a guy making out on the couch with himself. Rigor Mortis was also hilarious because we didn't see why the guy had to break his arm in the end. Insidious was however more scary. I could say they really did leave the best for last.

I wish I could attend the next Horrorfest! It lies very near my birthday anyway.

Lights and Music at KLCC!

No work today. I have made my replacement classes yesterday. Being booked for the day for a movie and some dinner at Jogoya. However, we were unlucky that Jogoya was fully booked... DANG!

I watched a movie called Prometheus in Pavillion. It's supposed to be the story before Aliens were born. However, to me, the movie was a little dry and too long winded. No matter how much people try to change my thinking and kept telling me how awesome this movie is, it still was BORING to me... ZZZZZ. I tried SO HARD not to FALL ASLEEP!!! Sorry, Prometheus fans...

After the movie, I was so tempted and had to buy the pair of Adidas that I have been waiting for for months! Yes, I got it in the end. I even got a member card for life after buying it.

These baby shoes are so CUTEEE!!!! Of course I didn't buy the baby version la! I bought the adult version..

I bet you thought I was kidding when I said I bought that pair of adult shoes right? WRONG! I was totally serious. I eyed for this pair of shoes for months and got it finally! I know I said that before, but yeah! OVEREXCITED OVER MY VERY EXPENSIVE GORGEOUS SHOES!!!

We went to Plaza Lowyat after to buy some cheap stuff, handphone stuff and got myself a cover to match my shoes! And not forgetting, it's Paul Frank! My favourite brand!!!

Dinner was at Lot 10's Shabu. Steamboating since it's something I haven't had in a while.

Prakash SMS'ed me during my dinner asking me to join him and his friends at KLCC during the night to watch some sounds and lights. It was a festival celebrated by many. Since I had no plans for the night, I went with the FLOW~

So I arrived at KLCC and still could not get my eyes off the amazing buildings. I had to snap pictures after we got our Starbucks while enjoying the lights and music.

There was also band after band performing on stage which was a little far from us. What a pity for the distance...

People from all over the place were enjoying it by dancing, putting on some special performances and having the "train" around the whole area the whole night! It's really a scene which you don't see in Malaysia everyday!

Here's a picture of Prakash with a person of the event, with her lighted up T-Shirt!

Here's some videos you may enjoy.

We had to leave early as Prakash was afraid that the jam may start soon.  We skipped the fireworks and walked to his car. Then, I got to take a better picture of the twins! Such beautiful pair...

Prakash was hungry, so we headed to the mamak nearby my place, which happened to be his usual spot for some supper and he had shisha. He brought me to his friend's shop which was next door with all the limited edition stuff! Even stuff from Jeremy Scott! But luckily, they did not have my pair of shoes... He took my Paul Frank and took a picture which said "I want this" on his face. LOL!

It was a great night overall. Tiring night too!
