MTV World Stage in Malaysia 2012!

***Before you read this post, please note that my pictures and videos may not be as good as you thought because I was not in a perfect spot and was surrounded by crazy fans who were jumping around like nobody's business. I've tried my best and videos were recorded with my iPhone, therefore no zoom and a far view. However, thanks for dropping by and do enjoy!!

It's such a beautiful day today. Of course, it's finally the day of MTV World Stage 2012 Live in Malaysia! Everyone has been waiting for this day patiently, hoping to see their idols, Justin Bieber, Kara, Mizz Nina and also Jay Park! I had been wondering myself to how I was to arrive there on time with parking. With God by my side, one by one, my classes got rescheduled and I got to get off work by 2.15pm!

As soon as I got off work, I drove to Sunway Pyramid, having my fingers crossed on no traffic. Thank God the traffic wasn't as bad as I thought. I got there about 3.30pm, grabbed a small snack from Ninja Joe's and headed to the entrance of Sunway Lagoon to start queuing up. As I exited Sunway Pyramid, I saw a huge crowd and also a very very extremely long queue!!! I just walked to the back of the queue and as mad or impossible this may sound, the queue was all the way to the main road! I regretted not taking a photo of the queue before joining them. MADNESS!!!

In the queue, some Korean teenagers were right in front of me and from their fashion sense, they looked quite cool. Even a blogger who had a Media pass walked up to one of them to snap her photo for her fashion blog.

After being in the line for about 15 minutes or so under the glaring hot sun, finally I got in. As usual like all the other events or concerts, cameras were not allowed in. But then again, I got 2 cameras in. How?  HAHA! For me to know and you to find out!!! Seriously I was so scared of being caught!!!

At the entrance after getting our wristbands, we were given a fan each, with a raincoat. Wonderful stuff for such a hot outdoor event. Rain or shine, they both were very useful. 

Walking into the event section, everyone was waiting under the HOT GLARING sun and were waiting patiently while I stood at a corner until the sun wasn't as glaring. Also, I was waiting for the good section to open up. As I looked around, I saw a few people being carried out of the event area because they have fainted. What a waste to faint even before the event started! I kept my fingers crossed that I won't be one of them. I quickly went to buy a bottle of water that cost RM5. Desperate measures...

I secured quite a good spot in the middle of the crowd for the event and it wasn't easy. People were pushing like mad, trying to get through to the front acting like they have friends there. I even came across these 3 girls who squeezed their way in front of me and I did squeeze back at first. I mean, I CAME HERE FIRST AND YOU JUST COME IN LIKE THAT? YOU THINK YOUR FATHER'S CONCERT AH?!?! The best thing was, after the concert started, she started shouting to the people behind not to push. RIGHT!!!

Andrea was with me from the start and Steph squeezed in later. Do watch my random Vlog.

As advertisements and songs were being projected onto the LCD screen at the sides of the stage, people screamed from time to time. There was also a few minutes where they put up some pictures of people who twitted or instagramed with the hash tag #worldstage and I went ahead and posted mine too! LOL!!! Spot me!

Finally after everyone waited for like FOREVER, the event started. It was a little later than scheduled but then again, it wasn't too much of a delay like I expected. A few host and Emcees came on stage to talk on MTV Stage, trying to get the crowd wild before inviting Justin Bieber to come on stage.

After announcing Justin's name, all the girls went wild. As he came out to sing, girls sang along, screaming like nobody's business. Yes, Andrea was one of the crazy girls that went wild and around us, I'm proud to say that SHE SCREAMED THE LOUDEST!!! You may watch my videos and when you hear the similar sharp loud voice screaming, do know that it's Andrea's doings. HAHA!!!

While Bieber was singing the first song, Stephanie tapped on my shoulder telling me that she preferred to go behind to watch as the Beliebers were crazy mad, jumping around, waving their fans around and hitting her. I tried to protect her but she said that she would faint any moment. It took her almost 2 slow songs to get out of the spot where were in!

Ok, too much of elaboration. I bet you Bieber fans who are reading this are saying:"Come on! Post his pictures and videos already!" Here you go!!! Starting with Bieber's "Baby!"

Beliebers were crazy when he brushed his hair with his palm, smiled, said "I love you", came down the stage and CRAZY JEALOUS of people right below the stage who got to shake hands with him. I bet you can see how crayzee they were in the videos! I'm sorry for the videos being small as I recorded most of them from my iphone and I couldn't zoom in.

When Bieber left the stage, so did his fans. I know a lot of them came only for Bieber and good for me, I got to secure a even better and fronter spot for my pictures and videos! Not forgetting, it was much more spacious!

Korean girl group Kara was up next. I have never known who they were but no doubt, I have heard their songs before. Thanks to one of my boys, Colby who always have Korean and Japanese songs in his car when he drives me and my other friends out.

Bieber had his girls fans while Kara attracted all the guys there! It was obvious that the higher screams were for Bieber and the lower screams came only when Kara appeared. What I learnt about them this night was they can really shake their booty! They do flatter their body a lot in a good way!

As we waited for Mizz Nina to come out, the song was played and dancers appeared on the stage, The first thing that came into my mind was "is that Dennis?" and wanted to ask Steph but remembered that she left. Later on, I was quite certain it was him. Mizz Nina did a good job in impressing the crowd! She had quite a lot of fans there tonight too!!! She's quite hot! She had so many dancers dancing for her! There were a few familiar faces I could say...

Last but not least, they saved the BEST for last. Jay Park came out with a very casual look. Smart of him as it was so hot tonight! I loved his second outfit with the GOLD sweater though. Everyone who was there, was practically his fan. Why else do you think everyone stayed? He is hot. Seriously I myself think he is handsome. HEHE... Back to the topic...

He sang a few songs which I knew and also heard on radio the past few days. He also sang a Korean version of an English Song. Know which song it was? Watch my videos to find out!

In between his performances, he gave his voice a 5 minute break and gave us all a performance to remember! He brought out a group of dancers, which danced with him and I liked it a lot. Nobody was outshining anyone in this performance. It was truly a great teamwork. I expected him to be the spotlight of the while routine but he was just like one of the dancers itself only.

Then, it was more of his performance to the end of the whole event!!! Jay Park had his fans screaming for more as he raised his shirt time after time. Fans were also screaming for him to take off his shirt. He's a real teaser I may say. He turned around, shaking his booty for his fans, making sexy moves and of course not forgetting his crazy dance moves. The craziest moment was still the time when he threw the cap which he was wearing into the crowd after he performed a number. I guess you should have seen it in the video above already. That person who caught it better be his fan or else he'd be attacked by tons of them.

I expected more to this event. I expected it to end at or after midnight, with fireworks display at the end but sad to say, it ended just so suddenly, with Jay Park's ending song and Emcees coming out telling us it's over and kids have gone missing from their parents.

There was human jam leaving Sunway Lagoon. The first thing to do once I left, was to get a drink at Jusco, in Pyramid. Everyone was doing the same. They were also grabbing a snack from the bakery shop outside before all the shops closed. 

My iPhone battery Died on me as I left Jusco and I had no choice but to sit on the floor of Sunway Pyramid and charged my phone at the socket which I found. SUPER DESPERATE WEH!

I then walked to the main entrance to collect my car from the Valet. Earlier on, I tried going to the car park but they told me it was all full. So the best choice at that moment was to just hand them the car keys and save my time from trying to get one. After all, it was only going to be RM20 for the whole day.

Bad decision I made as the roads were closed and they took forever to get my car. I waited for about an hour before getting my car! I finally left that place only at 11.30pm! CRAZY!

I've had a blast from this event nevertheless. I've got to see how crazy fans acted, watched famous artistes from everywhere perform on stage right in front of my very eyes and watched them shake their booty. I would love to come back again next year. Fingers crossed on getting tickets next year!!! BIGGEST HINT EVER!!!
