***Before you read this post, please do forgive me for my very unclear photos. I was standing way far behind and am glad my camera still got to capture a few clear photos after my super optical zoom.
After work today, I drove down to Bukit Jalil for the first time for a function. At first, my sister told me to follow the Cheras sign until I find the Sports Stadium sign. However, I ended up at Cheras itself! In the end, it took me a little longer to get there but I was still early. I drove to Aunty June's place to drop off my car and walked over to the stadium, which was quite nearby.
The settings and stage were already up like of course la! and the first people I bumped into were Joey and his girlfriend. Here's some pictures of the stage.
It was very crowded but thank God that the weather was much better than MTV World Stage. It was windy and I even heard someone say "I think it will rain soon". I was actually quite worried too as I was never stuck in a situation where I was outdoors for an event and rains. However, MY FM gave us some goodies, like instant food which were sponsored by BABA, MY FM premier tissues and a raincoat.
I am not very familiar with the singers tonight, so I shall just shut up keep quiet and let you see the photos. Let's see if you see anyone familiar! The only familiar faces for me tonight were some of the DJs, dancers and also of course, Nicholas Teo! :))
The DJs came out in a very interesting way. Sorry as I forgot to focus my cam before taking the shot. Therefore, blurry. Like a boss they are!!! Limo...
And the girl DJ was escorted out in a helicopter look alike!!!
They then started the show with an arabic dance.
The Genie in the bottle act by the DJs and Nicholas!
This guy sang the song in 那些年. His voice captured my ear drums and I loved his voice!!!
In between songs, there were acts in between by our DJs.
I came to know of these two last year because my friends were dancing as their backups. Apparently they have quite a lot of fans too!
And this guy I know from battleground. I heard he was also in one of the singing competitions.
The best part was when they started to sing Gee by Girls Generation!!!
There was a dance battle too!!!
This one down here I would rate as the best interesting colourful dressed of the night.
This guy was the most daring one among the rest. He actually came out with a snake and sang with it! WOW! And may I note that it IS a real snake.
Towards the end, they had a drama scene going on, with some action and also a short clip from one of the members of S.H.E!
This pretty girl here was the talk around me. The guys around me just kept going
"Wah hou leng lui loh!"
"Wah Hou SOK AH!!!"
Last but not least, Nicholas cam on stage!!! YAY!!! Quite bummed that I couldn't get clear shots of him though.
Everyone then came out the stage and gave a final goodbye...
Then there were the FIREWORKS!!!
