New Years eve!!!

Time flies so fast! It's the last day of the year already!!! I woke up, put on my best makeup and dress and headed out to get my car...


I have a choice today on which car I would like to take out. Which do you think I took?

Yeap, I took the MRS out to Alex's bro's house. We were having a steamboat party at his house. We just wanted somewhere not so crowded and noisy to end our year. It would be crowded and overpriced everywhere, not forgetting roadblocks!

The food we had for steamboat was just miraculously marvellous!!!

 We had a game of cards after our meal while waiting to countdown.

There was a concert or some party going on in Lost World of Tambun, so we had quite a view of the fireworks display from outside the house. Here's a video of it!

 

We went home a little after midnight. I drove the MRS and saw a jam at the traffic light. I knew that there was definitely a roadblock but I still went for it. Why avoid when I have nothing to hide? I had to go home with that road anyway. 

When it finally was my turn, the police asked for my IC and License. After struggling a little to get my purse from behind my seat, I volunteered to drive to the side. As he walked over to where I parked on the side, I handed him my identifications and he asked me why I put it there. I told him how unsafe it is nowadays and it is always safer behind my seat when I drive a sports car. He agreed on how unsafe it is already. Then, he asked me where I went to. I just said a friend's house for a quiet steamboat party and started small talk like how crowded it is in a pub and stuff. He said he was envious on us having a holiday and such... Finally he let me go after seeing my address and knowing I was heading home. Oh, I wished him a happy new year though! HAHA!!! What a start of the year for him...

A night at Euro House Alone

 Woke up a little late today. Did some chores before I could go out to watch Mission Impossible, the movie. Heard so much about it and how incredible it was. Finally I got to see it for myself. It was interesting but of course there was a part where I thought was quite long winded. Overall, it was quite good. Entertaining.

Took the boys to eat dinner at Tai Seng before heading out myself to Euro House, my second home again. Yes, I sat there alone at the bar. It's not boring for me as I got to talk to the staff, help Meng install stuff into his iPad and iPhone, play pool... If you have not been there yet, you will not know what I mean. 

Free flow wine again as usual, but my wine glass is bigger than anybodies and also I get services. HAHA!!!

It so happen was WAWA's and Boon's birthday! But I didn't get to eat any cake. Oh well... At least I wished them a happy birthday...

I chilled with my friends,  the staff in Euro the whole night as I never got the chance to. They sat there chatting, drinking and not cleaning. By the time we were done, it was almost 5am!!! Meng (the manager) was so nice to walk me to my car and also offered to follow me home to make sure I was safely home. I declined that offer as he had to go home and rest too. He did send me a sms to make sure I got home safely. He's SINGLE!!! GIRLS GO GRAB HIM!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Got home and camwhored. Too exhausted. Night all!!! Muax!!!

Hot Spring, EAT EAT EAT!!!

Today, I went to Hot Springs with Kit Kat, Alex and his family. It has been a while since I last been there.

It's now so Canggih with this wristband which runs by sensor also.

 The water was colder than I remembered. Perhaps it rained during the day, therefore leaving the water colder than usual... The best part is, the shower was cold. There was no hot water provided for us to shower. Everyone was screaming in the loo and I was enjoying myself, taking my time.^^

 

Then, we went out to eat dinner. It was already 9ish. It was more to supper than dinner. We went to this place called 15th storey high taugeh chicken... I thought it was on 15th storey until I arrived there...

We were dehydrated after the hot spring. That's almost 2 cups of drinks per person.

  




We were starving so we ordered some satay to ease our hungry a little...

After waiting for what seemed like forever, finally the food was here... It was not bad. However the noodle was in a very small portion! I guess I was too hungry til I forgot to take a picture of the noodles... We were also looking forward to the chicken feet which they say was the most delicious. Unfortunately, it was sold out. DAMN!

Since we didn't get to eat the craving chicken feet, they decided to drive to Pasir Puteh to have more food!!! 2nd round of food... DAMN! I'm getting fat!!!

After reaching home from all that food, I had another round of dessert, strawberries from the Camerons trip. Brother and his wife were playing mahjong with TJ. I joined in later after Joey went to sleep. We played til about 5am! Crazy!!!

It's been a long and boring holiday for me to stay at Ipoh for two weeks. That's why I came up with a plan to drive to Camerons. I discussed with my friends a few days ago and they too agreed to go up for a one day trip. 

Woke up at 8ish in the morning, took a refreshing bath before picking the guys up. 

I handed Colby my camera and he took all kinds of pictures on the way. Signboards, my car interior, scenery and more. 

As we arrived Kampung Raja, it was almost 11am. We were starving by then and headed to the shop my mom recommended for lunch.

The food we ordered were not bad for a total of RM72 only. Here's what we have ordered for our lunch.

The salty vegetable soup was good. Ah Choy ate something that was very salty and sour and made a very funny face. However, I only got the picture of the after effect. Was laughing too much.

After all, the weather up there was 20 degrees Celsius and drizzling all day long...

 

 Ah Choy was too cold as he was in shorts, so he lent my warmers (gloves and earwarmers). But there's a catch. It's not any normal warmers. HAHA!!! Take a look at his pictures!!!

However. it was crowded and we were stuck in a jam on the way up because the roads there are so narrow to the extend we have to take turns to get through. It didn't take too long though. We killed time by shouting "Merry Christmas!!!" to some of the cars which passed by with their windows open. It was fun to see their expressions though. I also made a little video during the stuck situation.

It started drizzling again and so we opened my umbrella and it opened too far back. It overturned instead. LOL!

Then, we entered the factory on our own without a guide. It was opened and no one was around to supervise anyway.





Since no one was there to introduce, I did a simple non-helping tour myself. HAHA...

 Next up? Buy food from Kea Farm!!! Strawberriessss... Corn... Potatoes!!!

There was also a jam at the parking lot and it was RM3 per parking. The guy told us that there were no free parkings available along the road but we decided to give it a try instead of paying the insane RM3. True enough, we found a parking and it was not too far from the market neither!!!

After buying all those food and indulging on it again, we headed to the next stop, SMOKEHOUSE!!! Few of my pals have not been there before therefore it was worth a while.

We ordered some afternoon tea sets and inA dulged again!!!





A dalmation decided to appear as we waited for our order. It sure knew how to pose! DAMN POSER!!!

As they were busy with their phones onlining in Starbucks, I went next door to ask about the jungle trekking services so I could try it out next time.





Finally it was dinner time by the time we were done. We had steamboat at my usual place, You Hoo restaurant.







And it don't stop there!!! We had more food from Pasar Malam before going back to Ipoh.

On the way back to Ipoh, we saw all the farms with their lights on. It was such a grand sighting!!! It was indeed romantic also! If only I had watched it with someone special... It was really spectacular, better than any fireworks display! Do check it out if you happen to travel to Ipoh from Camerons during the night...

 

 Upon arriving Ipoh, we realized something new!!! Cool!!! I wonder how much it cost again...

Was so super exhausted I KOed on the bed after my shower... This was just one SUPER TIRING BELLY BLOATED, STOMACH BURSTING DAY!!! IT'S JUST EAT EAT AND EAT!!!!!
